PKF BBA are a local accountancy firm with membership to the global PKF accountancy network, providing services to a wide range of local clients. The role
We are expanding our IT Assurance and Risk Advisory team and are looking for an IT Auditor to help deliver assurance across IT general controls, application controls and technology risk, working alongside our audit and advisory teams.
Responsibilities would include:
- Performing IT general controls and application controls testing as part of statutory audits
- Supporting financial audit teams with technology-related insights and evidence
- Advising clients on IT risks, controls and cyber resilience
- Assisting on risk advisory engagements, including IT risk assessments, data governance and emerging technology reviews
- Working autonomously on engagements, managing time and deliverables
- Building strong client relationships and providing clear, practical recommendations
The candidate:
- Qualified or part-qualified in a relevant professional qualification (e.g. CISA, CISSP, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience in IT audit, IT assurance or technology risk, ideally within a professional services environment
- Confident analysing systems, processes and controls, with an interest in cyber security
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Motivated, curious and collaborative, with a commitment to high-quality delivery
